Photography Workshops
In 2010 Maria teamed up with Prof Paul Hill MBE to provide Photography Workshops and mentoring around the UK and in Europe. Paul is an internationally renowned photographer, author and tutor with a teaching style that is truly insightful. Maria, with over 20 years of professional photographic experience, is a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society, holds an MA in Photography and is a qualified teacher. Together, Maria & Paul run workshops, retreats, short courses and mentoring programmes.
Workshop Programme 2026
Unfortunately in early March Maria underwent surgery for a double fracture to her right arm and a dislocated elbow. Although she expects to make a full recovery, it is likely to take 9 to 12 months before she is fully functioning.
As a result we are suspending our workshop programme until later in the year.

Coaching Sessions
The main advantage of a private photography coaching session is that it really is all about you. Instead of following a predetermined course or workshop each session is designed to deliver exactly what you need, whether that be technical skills, creative development or a combination of both.
Coaching sessions are available in hourly slots, daytime and evenings, online or live in the Peak District.

Mentoring Programme
Our photography mentoring programme is designed for photographers who would benefit from regular 1-2-1 input and feedback over a period of time. This can be particularly useful for photographers about to embark on, or in the midst of a project, but is also suitable for those looking to generally improve their photographic practice or work towards a goal. The schedule comprises a total of six hours contact time divided into 60 or 90 min sessions as appropriate.
